The CAAT, is a group of tests that is sometimes used by trade schools & colleges to help determine your present educational level & your readiness for training. It is often used when you do not meet the educational requirements for the course you have chosen.

These tests provide a measure of your current functional level in mathematics, reading & language.

The CAAT comes in four different levels but you would only be required to complete the level that is appropriate for you, depending upon the course you are planning to enter. In some cases you may only need to complete a part of that level.

If the entire test is used it will usually be completed in these timeframes:
Level A-2 hrs, 10 min.
Level B-3 hrs, 30 min.
Level C-4 hrs, 30 min.
Level D-3 hrs, 30 min.

The school will determine what level that you will complete & if you will need to complete the entire level or just part of it.

The test results are hand scored by the school & they will inform you of the outcome.
