You will also need to review the details of the available courses offered by each school, examine their graduate success rate, determine the costs/benefits to you, & then choose your best training option.
A few of the main questions that you need to consider, when trying to choose a career path, are:
*What type of work is best suited to me & my natural abilities? *What are the labor market potentials? Where? *What training do I need? *What school has the best course? Why? *What does the training cost? *How much will I have to pay? *Where can I get help to cover the costs? *What about my family’s expenses back home, while I am away at school? *What happens to my EI Benefits? *Will my living expenses be covered while I am at school?
We can help you explore your options, prepare your funding application & help support you throughout the period of training.
If you do not meet the educational requirements for the training program you choose you may need to complete the General Educational Development Test (GED Test) or even the Adult Basic Education Program (ABE Program). In some cases the school may want you to complete the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT).
